The Stranger looks suspicious

The Stranger looks suspicious

By Anthony Gallardo

It was a dark and stormy night and I was at the local diner. The wind and rain pounded against the window. The clock struck midnight and the door burst open and a suspicious man walked in. He was tall and he wore a black trench coat and a black top hat. His face was covered with a black scarf and dark sun glasses. He sat down next to me soaking wet. With a deep and raspy voice he ordered a cup of black coffee. By his feet was a silver metal brief case with a lock on it. I introduced myself and he said his name was john. I asked where he was from and he replied he was on a business trip out of state. I agreed to help him. I wasn’t sure if this was a good idea but I thought I would like to someone to help me if I had a car problem. We then entered in my old pickup truck that smelt like pine trees. It was cold in my truck but the heater wouldn’t work. He didn’t say much on the way because I couldn’t hear him over the roar of my engine. I pulled off to the side of the road in front of his car. He watched me while I went to work on it. It was an old looking car with a lot of miles on it. It had a broken window and a couple of dents like it were in an accident. His car wouldn’t start, so I hooked a chain to it and towed him to the nearest garage. Once we got there he told me that he appreciated everything I did for him. I left him there and I walked back to my car. I drove home and I noticed that he left his brief case in the passenger seat. I picked it up and it was cold. It was open and I opened it slowly. It was full of money. There were stacks of crisp new 100 dollar bills, and there was a note addressed to me, thanking me for the help.

Is Walter qualifyed to run a business?

I think that Walter has big ideals on what he wants to do and how he wants to run his business. I think he is qualified to run the store but he will have trouble in the first year. After a while he'll learn the do's and the don'ts. In later years and after good investments his business will become a wise investment.
